- Hydrate and prep: mist generously with hydration mist to flood the skin with water-based hydration and antioxidants.

I’ve never used an oil cleanser, should this be foamy? How do I oil cleanse properly?
Start with dry skin, warm 2-3 pumps of oil between your hands and gently massage onto your face for about a minute, allowing the oils to dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and daily buildup while supporting the skin’s natural barrier. To remove, press a warm damp cloth over your face for a few seconds to steam and lift impurities, then gently wipe away. Rinse the cloth and repeat if needed. Skin should feel clean, nourished, and balanced.
Why should I use a hydrating spray before I apply my oil serums or tallow balm?
Applying a hydrating facial mist before your oil serum or tallow balm helps your skin absorb nutrients more effectively. Water-based hydration from the mist delivers moisture deep into the skin, while the oils and tallow seal it in, creating the ideal balance of hydration and nourishment. This simple step enhances absorption, improves glide during application, and leaves your skin soft, plump, and naturally luminous without feeling heavy or greasy.
How do I apply serum?
On cleansed and lightly misted skin add 3-6 drops of serum to your fingertips and warm I between your hands. Gently press and massage the serum into your face, deck and decolletage, allowing the oils and botanicals to absorb while our skin is still hydrated. Take slow, upward motions to encourage circulation and support a healthy lifted glow. Let the serum fully sink in before following with your tallow balm to seal in moisture and nutrients.
How do I apply Tallow?
Start with clean, lightly misted skin so the tallow can melt in and lock in hydration. Warm a pea-sized amount between your fingertips until it softens then gently press and massage into the face, neck, and decolletage. Use slow, upward motions and focus on areas needing extra nourishment. Allow the tallow to absorb fully, creating a soft, cushioned finish that strengthens the skin barrier and seals in moisture for lasting glow and comfort.
Does it take time for my skin to get used to oil-based products?
Yes! It can take a little time for your skin to adjust to oil-based products. When transitioning your skin is re-balancing its natural oil production and learning to receive nourishment without the stripping or drying effects of conventional cleansers and moisturizers. During this adjustment period (1-3 weeks), some people may notice minor congestion or purging as the skin begins to detoxify and re-balance.
At first your skin may feel slightly oily as it adjusts, but with consistent use, it will re-balance and begin to produce less oil naturally. Once your barrier stabilizes, most find their skin becomes softer, calmer, and more hydrated, with fewer dry patches and less overproduction of oil. The key is consistency, gentle cleansing, and applying oils or tallow to damp skin to lock in moisture effectively.
Does the tallow smell beefy?
No, the tallow is properly sourced, cleaned, and rendered at low temperatures to preserve its nutrients without retaining the strong beefy odor. High-quality grass-fed tallow, when rendered correctly, develops a neutral, clean scent that blends beautifully with botanicals and oils. Any subtle aroma you might notice is simply the botanicals that have been slow infused at low heat lavender, chamomile, and rosebud), along with the natural plant oils that are used in the balm.
What does “bioavailable skincare” mean?
Bioavailable skincare means the skin can easily recognize, absorb, and utilize the nutrients in each ingredient. Our tallow, botanicals, and oils mimic the skin’s natural composition, allowing for deeper nourishment and true results.
How do your tallow products rank on the comedogenic scale?
Our formulations are intentionally made with ingredients that fall on the low end of the comedogenic scale, they are unlikely to clog pores.

Can I use tallow-based skincare if I have oily or acne prone skin?
